facebook photo comments

Just yesterday, Facebook rolled out a brand new feature: the ability to post photos as comments. They are slowly releasing it to users as usual, so there’s a good chance you don’t have it just yet.

In the past, Facebook has allowed you to post an image in the comments as a link which would pull up a thumbnail preview, but now you can upload the photos directly to Facebook. They will also show us larger than before making them easier ot view.

To take advantage of the feature, simply click on the gray camera icon at the bottom of the comment box, and then upload the image.

They do seem to be having issues with it showing up for some people then disappearing. So it could be that it’s glitching.

We’ll see if they can straighten it out.

They don’t support GIFs at this time however. Though this may be a good thing!

Click the image to tweet it out!

Are you planning on using this feature? What are your thoughts?
